Starting in July if you make less than around $50,000 a year you are likely entitled to overtime pay, regardless of your job.  In other words, if you’re an office manager and you make $40,000 a year under the old law your employer didn’t have to pay you overtime.  Now, under the new law you are owed overtime at a rate of 1.5 times your regular rate for all hours over 40.
